At any specific moment in time, we see the world in a vividly detailed and particular light. I am a world traveler whose photographs capture a layered new perspective of familiar or unfamiliar places near and far.

Backstory

I am an artist, art educator, and dancer with a strong background in urban community-based arts and an affinity for social justice. I have always been fascinated by the ability of art to positively enhance people’s everyday lives.

As an undergraduate, I attended UW Milwaukee, where I earned a degree in Architectural Studies. It was a rigorous design education that enhanced my ability to capture the essence of space and heightened my appreciation for the harmonious coexistence of man-made splendor and natural beauty, a concept that I strive to incorporate into my work.

I also have a masters degree in Community-based Art Education & Culture and Community Studies from UW Milwaukee, so my work tends to focus on community building, cityscapes, and location-based experiences.

I have traveled to and visited all of the places depicted in my works—from Rome, Italy to Paris, France to Agra, India. I capture the image with my camera, print, mount, assemble, and frame every work myself.
