Philosophy
My work leans toward the scientific, especially Leonardo da Vinci’s intense observations of water, trees and the human body. My latest imagery depicts the diversity of the forest and the sterility of monoculture as a metaphor for human social systems.

Backstory
I graduated with a B.S. in Art Education from UW-Madison with a focus on drawing and printmaking. After a career in graphic arts and public relations, I returned to hand printmaking in 1999 under Christine Style, UW-Green Bay.
I founded the Main Street Art Works co-op in Hilbert, Wisconsin and shared studio and gallery space there with other artists from 2003 to 2014.
For more than 20 years, I have created mixed media prints, sculptures, and encaustic paintings. My work has appeared in national and international exhibitions and has been acquired for the permanent collections of Bellin Health, Green Bay; St. Norbert College, De Pere; and Northwestern Mutual, Milwaukee. My work is represented by Idea Gallery in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin, as well as the Almont Gallery.
