Philosophy
I have always loved light and shadows and have recently been challenging myself to paint the play of light in my paintings. The subjects I choose intrigue me, inspire me, or push me out of my comfort zone.

Backstory
I have been a maker and creator since I was in middle school. I pursued an arts education and earned my BSEd Art from Northern Illinois University.
I am currently retired after teaching art at a local private school for more than 20 years.
