Philosophy
My artworks are whimsical or sometimes mysterious. They include animated figures such as people, animals, trees, or mythic figures. The figures live in environments that are a mix of fact and fantasy.

Backstory
I am an Emerita professor of art at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at Waukesha. I received my MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
My work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. It is included in over sixty collections, such as: Bainbridge Museum of Art, Carnegie Mellon University, Museum of Wisconsin Art, Ottis College of Art and Design, Quad Graphics, Rhode Island School of Design, Scripps College, University of Alberta, Canada, University of California-Los Angeles, University of California-Santa Barbara,University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and Washington University. In 2008, I was awarded a Women’s Studio Workshop Grant and Artist’s Book Residency.
I work in three types of media: artist’s books, prints, and paintings. My work titled “Time Wall”, is currently on display in a permanent installation on the north wall at the Waukesha Public Library.
